ABOUT THE EVENT

Lex Coulton grew up in Herefordshire and was educated at Hereford Cathedral School and Brasenose College, Oxford. After ten years as an English teacher, she completed the Oxford Master of Studies in Creative Writing, and went on to have short fiction, poetry and non-fiction work published in journals such as Shooter Lit and The London Journal of Fiction. In 2016 she was the winner of the Thresholds International Feature Writing Prize for an essay about teaching Raymond Carver’s Short Cuts to some recalcitrant public-school boys, and in 2018 her debut novel Falling Short was published by John Murray. Here next novel is now in production and due for release in the near future - of which more will be shared at the event.
